LAURIE DOWNEY

Laurie Downey grew up on the beaches of Southern California and has been involved in the arts since her youth. She has a B.A. from the University of California and has lived and studied in Europe.

Laurie has exhibited in shows in California in both jewelry design and as a painter. She has been a member of the North Laguna Beach Gallery for fifteen years.

She divides her time between her home in Dana Point, southern California and the Big Island of Hawaii.

Laurie often paints from photographs which she takes during her travels. She enjoys painting the tropical flowers of Hawaii and coastal scenes of Hawaii and California.
